1. The service

Provincial Food Relief Integrated System ("GFRIS", "the service") is provided by Hill City Solutions (HILLCITY SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD), 21 Woodlands Drive, Woodmead, Sandton 2191, South Africa. By signing in or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

Where your organisation has a signed agreement with Hill City Solutions (including a subscription through a cloud marketplace), that agreement takes precedence over these terms if they conflict.

2. Demonstration environment

• The demonstration contains synthetic data only. Do not enter real personal information.
• Government verifications (Home Affairs, professional councils, NPO register) are mocked.
• Face matching is a prototype and is not a certified biometric matcher.
• Demonstration data may be reset at any time without notice.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

• Access is restricted to authorised programme staff and contracted partner organisations. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Use the service only for the food relief and related programmes it is configured for, and only within the role and area you have been assigned.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the service, extract data in bulk outside the export features, or use it to profile or surveil any person.
• Access is logged. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other people's information at risk.

4. Your data

Your organisation retains its rights in the programme data it captures. Hill City Solutions processes it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Your organisation is responsible for having a lawful basis for the information it captures and for the accuracy of what its users record.

5. Intellectual property

The software, design and documentation of GFRIS belong to Hill City Solutions or its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your access. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it except as the law allows.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or improve features; material changes to these terms will be shown with a new date on this page.

7. Liability

The service supports, and does not replace, the judgement of the officers who use it. Every decision about a household is made by a named person. To the extent the law allows, Hill City Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
